HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 1, 2015 – NMR Consulting (NMR) participated in the American Freedom Foundation’s Warriors To The Workforce Hiring Event, a nationwide initiative to help veterans find jobs. During the event, NMR presented its Military-to-Civilian (M2C) Transition Assistance Program to attendees, a free one-day workshop that gives transitioning military personnel one-on-one assistance with writing résumés, interviewing, and building social media profiles.
In addition to the hiring event, Warriors To The Workforce included workshops that featured some of the top speakers in the country. Much like M2C, these workshops provided resources and information to veterans and transitioning military service members and their spouses to help them better transition to civilian life. Topics included networking and presentation skills, job searching, career planning, and military skills translation.
Warriors To The Workforce was held in association with Still Serving Veterans and in conjunction with the 2015 AUSA ILW Global Force Symposium and Exposition.
