NMR’s Leigh Thigpen Elected to Women In Defense Board

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 1, 2015 – NMR Consulting (NMR), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is proud to announce that Business Area Manager Leigh Thigpen has been elected to the board position of programs director for the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Women in Defense (WID-TVC).

Women in Defense cultivates and supports the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security, and serves as a resource for the women of the Tennessee Valley who contribute to the nation’s defense through their service in the military, Department of Defense, or private industry.

The programs director plans chapter programs and event participation, coordinates with local defense-related organizations, and facilitates partnerships to benefit chapter members.
