In 2022, NMR embarked on a VTC journey centered on the design and deployment of an innovative analysis and communications collaboration suite for one of our key customers. The build out of this suite is a great example of NMR’s expertise regarding the implementation of tailored VTC solutions for our government customers.

Designing for Excellence

Our involvement with the suite began with meticulous planning and design, ensuring every aspect of the suite of rooms aligned seamlessly with the Customer's objectives. The suite was comprised of four geographically dispersed rooms across the Customer’s organization. This spatial distribution facilitated an unparalleled collaboration capability that went above and beyond any previous boundaries within the Customer’s organization.

Unveiling the Suite's Features

Central to the suite's functionality is its ability to deliver a transformative collaboration experience that is not only immersive, but secure. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, users are immersed in an interactive environment where they can actively engage with presentations, annotate content, and collaborate in real-time across the four geographically dispersed rooms. This immersive interaction is facilitated by state-of-the-art 98” touch displays integrated into each conference room, ensuring clear and dynamic communication across locations. The entire experience is handled through an isolated, classified network, ensuring that communications are secure.

Our End-to-End Responsibility

Realizing that a timely deployment of these features across the four sites would be critical to the success of the project, the Customer entrusted NMR with end-to-end responsibility for securing the Authorization to Operate (ATO) approval for the suite. NMR's experienced team managed the compliance requirements with precision and attained the final ATO approval in February 2024. Obtaining the approval was a huge milestone, marking the culmination of a multi-year effort between the Customer and NMR, to rollout a new VTC experience unlike any other in our Customer’s organization.
